연구 분야: 저는 단백질 구조를 이해하고 이를 이용하여 신약 또는 조절물질을 개발하는데 응용할 수 있는 연구를 하고 있습니다.
응용 분야: 단백질 구조 연구를 통해서 자가면역 질환을 조절하는 바이오신약(항체)를 개발하거나 가뭄에 잘 견디는 벼로 전환시키는 조절물질을 개발하는데 이용할 수 있습니다.
산학협력 사례 및 취업 분야: 저희 연구실은 국내 바이오 분야 회사가 개발 중인 신약의 성질을 규명하는 연구를 수행하고 있습니다저희 연구실을 졸업한 학생들은 한미약품, GC녹십자와 같은 국내 대형 제약회사에서 바이오신약 개발 및 바이오의약품 생산 품질 관리 등의 직무 분야에서 일하고 있습니다.

 Reseach interests 
Our laboratory focuses on studying molecular basis of protein interactions in ubiquitin and plant hormone signaling and pneumococcal virulome using a combination of biochemical and biophysical techniques. X-ray crystallography is a powerful tool to unveil atomic details of protein interactions. We seek to apply the principles of protein interactions to development of biosensors.
