The department provides the faculty members, graduate students and staffs with state-of-the-art facilities to support research and education. Specialized facilities include animal care room, low-temperature room and undergraduate laboratories. Core instrumentation facility houses cutting edge instruments such as confocal laser scanning microscopy, ultra-speed centrifuges, high precision spectrophotometer and fast performance liquid chromatography (FPLC). Individual laboratories have variety of specialty instruments, which are easily accessible to the members of the department. Multimedia seminar rooms and lecture rooms make high technology-based education and discussion possible. All the laboratories and offices are connected by ultra-fast internet, supporting up-to-theminute information exchange.
